The rainy season is a welcomed relief from the hot summer months and is a welcomed reprieve for Amdavadis. Expect temperatures from the low to mid 30's C (86-96 degrees F) and humid. This is the peak season for malaria and locals and visitors should take necessary precautions.

THE IDEAL TIME TO VISIT

The ideal months to visit Ahmedabad range from October to March when the temperatures are cool, the land is fertile after the monsoon, and the festivals are in full swing. Don't miss the famous 9-night dance festival of Navratri in October or Diwali, the festival of lights in November!
